Can one person change the world? Definitely, but you don't need to be Dr Martin Luther King or Mother Theresa to make a positive difference in your world.
In March 2015, Kelly Wilton - the mother of a child with disability - pitched the idea that Coles and Woolworths should provide shopping trolleys for children with physical needs in their supermarkets across Australia. With 30,000 supporters from around the country, Coles introduced the trolleys across 300 stores in Australia.
Thirteen-year-old Connor McLeod successfully campaigned the Reserve Bank of Australia to add tactile features to bank notes.
Every day people change the world for the better - you just need to have an ambition and make a start.
We invite you to create a community ambition and we will raise awareness of your project on this website and through other media channels. INVOLVE’s trial of personal and community ambitions has concluded and we have found the INVOLVE platform lends itself particularly well to the promotion of community ambitions
